Hello, I am applying for the Minnesota Emerging Writers Grant for my young adult novel, and need information about your upcoming conference in December, specifically, the cost, the time, and a description of what will be offered at the conference. Any and all information will be appreciated.

Is the workshop only for fiction? If I have a non fiction picture book , would that be acceptable?

Hi! I’m very interested in attending this workshop; however, I’d like to be sure that an agent and/or editor will be interested in and experienced with YA fantasy. I realize that this is a specialized genre. Please advise me if this falls within the parameters of the workshop. Thank you!
Absolutely!
At least two of the editors and several of the Agents at Andrea Brown handles YA Fantasy.
Would the December conference be an appropriate event for youth writers (ages 14 and 12)?
